Have you ever considered hosting a summer intern in your office? It’s a great way to be involved in launching a student’s career pathway.
Boulder Rotary Club’s Vocational Committee is partnering with the I Have A Dream Foundation to promote internships and apprenticeships. On February 9th, there will be a complimentary breakfast at the NEW Embassy Suites in Boulder for organizations interested in learning more about hosting summer internships. This event is possible thanks to the underwriting support of Foothills United Way.

For more than 20 years, the I Have A Dream Foundation of Boulder County has placed eligible high school students in paid summer internships with organizations like University of Colorado Boulder, Boulder County District Attorney's Office, Boulder Housing Partners, among others. Attendees will hear from previous hosts, including District Attorney Stan Garnett, and former interns about why this experience is so critical to building Boulder County's future talent pipeline.

Come see how your organizations can benefit from the creativity and energy of local youth. This is a great opportunity to help BVSD’s low-income students gain exposure to potential career pathways and build their local professional networks while earning money over their summer break.
